We all want beautiful but trendy nails, right? At the same time we want something different and worldly. Here’s a look at some beautiful nude nail art – creating something elegant and unique at the same time.
Opt for the Classic
There’s nothing more beautiful and elegant than the French manicure. This is one of the easiest nail arts you can choose. You just have a nude or pink base – the closer to your natural nail colour the better – and white tips. The tips are only to the base of your own tips, giving you a natural look.
Switch White Tips for Gold
If you want a little more trendy and flashy, then why not switch out the white tips for some golden sparkly ones? This is the perfect nail art for your vacation nights out. You can even add the golden sparkles over the top of your white tips, quickly adapting your traditional French manicure.
Opt for Black Tips Instead
This is another adaptation of the classic French manicure. Rather than the white tips, opt for black tips. There’s something more sophisticated about this nail art. On your middle two fingers, opt for a black floral pattern. This helps to draw attention to your beautiful nude colour nail art.
Add Gems to Nude Nails
Scale the French manicure back. Don’t add anything to the tips and just use a nude or pale pink polish to the whole of the nail. Now add three gems straight up the middle of each of your nails. If you don’t have gems, you can use silver sparkly polish in their place. For those who have long nails, like in the picture, it’s best to start the three gems just millimetres from the tips of your nails.
Use Metal Accessories Over Nude Bases
Metal accessories are all the rage at the moment and they are extremely simple to use. You can make each nail different. Start with your little finger and add a triangular silver nail sticker to the base of your nail. You can also use silver nail polish if you prefer to fake the metallic look. On the next finger, use spots of silver polish up the middle of your nails and add a square metallic sticker to your index finger.
The middle finger is more intricate. Get some clear stickers that will allow you to create a stencil for your nails. Paint over the nude colour in white and then remove the stickers. You’ll have stripes of your nude base within your nails.
Add Flare to Your Nails
If you want to stick with the black polish without the alternate French manicure style, while not add some floral patterns to your nails? You can opt for floral patterns or geometry with a fine nail brush across your fingers. Alternate between a full nail pattern to just the tips or just the base to help add flare to your nails.
Do the Upside Down Manicure
Finally, you can opt for an upside down manicure. Instead of adding a different colour to the tips of your nails, you add it to the base of them. In this case, add glittery polish or silver sparkles to the base of each nail. On your ring finger of each hand, get a fine brush with white polish and draw a very simple geometric net-style pattern from the tip to around the middle of your nails.
Classic doesn’t mean that you have to be boring. Nude colours are perfect for highlighting other elements and designs.
